Cornella - El Prat Stadium, Barcelona
Sunday, March 25, 2012
Malaga have spent most of their history in the lower divisions, so there is very little history between these two clubs that both wear blue and white stripes. However, it was against Malaga that Espanyol played their very last game at their temporary home at the Olympic Stadium, in May 2009, and which they won 3-0 thanks to a hat trick from Raúl Tamudo. Espanyol of course now play at the ultra-modern 40,000 capacity Cornellá-El Prat Stadium, winner in 2010 of the Guinness Stadium Business Award, where the atmosphere generated by the fans is one of the best in La Liga.
