Lucarelli video and new ticket
February 23, 2007 on 1:03 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsCristiano Lucarelli is not hiding his feelings about the ban on playing with spectators in stadiums that do not fulfil safety regulations, stating that due to the ´discrimination` of the stadiums the players are ready not to go out on to the pitch at all.
Elected as spokesman of the Association of Football players of Italy, Lucarelli wants to find a solution that satisfies all parties: “We respect the decisions of the Government, but we the football players ask that there are no discriminations between open and closed stadiums; as we too may stop and think about playing one more day “.
The star of Livorno feels that this lack of affection for some of the stadiums is an act of discrimination that directly affects the competition: “The request of the Italian football players is to avoid discriminations between one match and another. We are in the final part of the championship and the tournament runs the risk of being falsified if we play in stadiums with different conditions. We cannot accept that some teams play without supporters and others with full stands “.
Lucarelli, is not hesitant in stating that idea of the players is “or the doors are opened to the supporters or all matches are played with ´closed gates`. Adding; “We are ready for any decisions, minus that of a championship with discrimination ”

Buy FC Barcelona TicketsMadrid offer cash plus Ronaldo for Adriano
February 19, 2007 on 4:02 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsA report in today’s Gazzetta dello Sport claims Real Madrid have offered Internazionale 50 million euros (£35m) plus Ronaldo in exchange for fellow Brazilian striker Adriano.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has so far resisted all offers to cash in on Adriano, but he could be tempted to accept Real’s offer as it would provide the money to fund a bid for Roma forward Antonio Cassano, according to Gazzetta.
Inter have already let Italian international Christian Vieri move to city rivals Milan this summer, while also parting with Stephane Dalmat and Emre Belozoglu.
New arrivals include Juan Sebastian Veron on a permanent deal from Chelsea, fellow Argentinian Santiago Solari from Real Madrid and Cameroon defender Pierre Wome.

England to Play at Monjuic Tickets
February 2, 2007 on 1:38 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsEngland are comming to Barcelona, and at last it’s official. The venue of their European Championship qualifier away to Andorra on MArch 28 has finally been confirmed, and it’s going to be the Olympic Stadium on Montjuic.

UEFA finally managed to stand in the way of Andorra’s insitence on playing the game in their country, where the national stadium holds just 1800 people.
The lesson was learnt a few year’s back when Liechtenstein insisted on doing the same thing, leading to massive security problems and thousands of England supporters made the trip to the game and were left outside without tickets. Andorra, whop lost to England 5-0 at Old Trafford, usually play matches against major european nations, but whit their massive travelling support, plus thousands more English people living in Barcelona and up and down the costas, it decided that the bigger Olympic Stadium would be needed this time, where Andorra have only appeared once before, holding then world champions France to a frighteningly sull 0-0 draw.
