Along with Nirvana and Pearl Jam, one of the biggest bands to emerge from Seattle’s magic grunge years, but we wondered if we would ever hear from them again when lead vocalist Layne Staley copped it after an overdose in 2002 (on the 8th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death).
Lead guitarist Jerry Cantrell now does the singing too, and the band has yet to release any new materials since the loss of its iconic frontman.
